After  taking the time to read chapter 1 to identify the four themes of human services. The four themes are1 problems in living which means people need are sometimes not their own needs and this is when human services then develop in their response to the persons needs. 2, is the growing number of problems in the modern world. This is when the human services will then emerged it to its response to the growth in the problems in the modern world. 3 would be self- sufficient this helps the clients to make their own decisions for their own actions.
