You should strive to organize your essay around your thoughts on the topic, NOT around your sources. In other words, you should not have a separate paragraph for the Jane Mayer and then another paragraph John Yoo; rather, each paragraph should make a point related to your thesis, and then you should bring in your two sources as support for your claims.
