Critical thinking

Paper instructions:
In The Myth of Sisyphus, Atheist existentialist Albert Camus says that the ancient Greek myth of Sisyphus illustrates the absurd situation that we are all in according to Camus. He views life as absurd just as the situation Sisyphus found himself in for eternity.
“The book ends with a discussion of the myth of Sisyphus, who, according to the Greek myth, was punished for all eternity to roll a rock up a mountain only to have it roll back down to the bottom when he reaches the top. Camus claims that Sisyphus is the ideal absurd hero and that his punishment is representative of the human condition: Sisyphus must struggle perpetually and without hope of success. So long as he accepts that there is nothing more to life than this absurd struggle, then he can find happiness in it, says Camus.” -http://www.sparknotes.com/philosophy/sisyphus/summary.html

Take a position on Camus’ thesis that life is absurd but that we can find happiness if we resign ourselves to this fact. Do you agree or disagree and why. Your paper should be between 400-500 words (approximately 1.5 to 2 typed pages double spaced) and will be evaluated using the course grading rubric for written assignments.
