Community Problem Solving Paper

Community problem solving is an approach used by police where they form a partnership with community members in order to develop proactive solutions to crime problems. In the city of Colorado Springs, Colorado the city initiated a community problem solving in order to stop a growing crime problem involving the homeless. The city started experiencing a large homeless problem where they were making their homes in the public park. The initial response by the city was to clean up the areas in the park where the homeless where making their homes.
