Unit Plan- Prepare a detailed description of one week’s worth of lessons around a common theme to include at last two content areas. Included should be mention of how you would specifically differentiate instruction for elementary students with learning disabilities. How will you differentiate the environment, content, process and product? The paper should be a narrative description of the activities involved. It should not be a compilation of lesson plans but attached to the paper should be one detailed lesson plan of a lesson from the unit. The paper should include a description of your philosophy of instructional design and a plan for the assessment of the success of the unit. The grade level for the unit and the NYS Common Core Learning Standards that are to be addressed must be briefly identified and summarized not quoted verbatim.
