4. This 3 to 4 paragraph, one page journal in APA style, and your responses should demonstrate both mature introspection and learning. Please ensure you cite all references.

Pick two of the objectives from pages 5 and 6 of The Staff Ride by William G. Robertson and explain how they relate to what you personally took away from this Staff Ride. Ensure the objectives are apparent in your journal.

Please use the link for the Horseshoe Bend National Military Park (https://www.nps.gov/hobe/index.htm) and also use you tube to get videos on the Horseshoe Bend and pretend like you have visited the site and relate the two objectives that you picked from page 5 and 6 of the staff ride by William G. Robertson to what you made up that you personally took. I have also included three PDFs to help you have a good picture of what to write. For the objectives, I would like you to pick these two:
I. To provide case studies in how logistical considerations affect operations.
J. To show the effects of terrain upon plans and their implementation.
What I will recommend is for you to relate the objectives to the following as what you took from the trip:
1. How you felt this was an excellent resourceful educational tool and very good for your professional military development and it is necessary for all officers to know the history of this war.
1. How the terrain was a very strategic and good pick for the Creek for defensive purposes.
2. How the terrain was difficult to maneuver for the Americans.
How difficult was it for the Creeks to live in such conditions (environment); i.e. food, even though you knew they hunted.
How getting logistics for the way was difficult for the Americans and the natives during the war.
3. How fascinated you were with the type of equipment they used during the war from both ends.
4. How you think the Horseshoe Bend National Military Park should be preserved because of the sacrifices the men and women of both factions gave for the war.
You can get the information to back it up from the attachments and You tube video but please pretend like you took all these ideas from the staff ride.
