**You are encouraged to investigate on the World-Wide Web,
but make sure to cite your sources in proper formatting.**
Summarize your given movement in fifteen (15) words or less. Yes, you have to stick to 15 words or less.
Tell us who you think was the most important artist of your movement and why.
Choose a work of art from ‘your’ artist (a work that is not represented in the book); please critique the work of art using the terminology review presented in the Objectives. Don’t forget to tell us about the medium used and why the artist might have chosen that particular medium (the pros and cons).
Give us two things that were taking place in Europe or the U.S. during your movement – these two things must be non-art related. For instance, you can point out inventions, politics, wars, famous people, etc., from your very specific time period.
It is then up to you to read through the ‘other’ Isms. If your fellow students are going to give you the basics and help you keep them straight, please don’t miss this opportunity. Everyone: Please put the Ism you are summarizing in your thread title for easy sorting.
