Research and respond to the following two questions. (One page for each)

For the sake of looking into the regulations for a maintenance item, say in FAR 121.701(a), http://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?node=14:3.0.1.1.7.22.3.11&rgn=div8, would a crew be in violation if they were flying an airplane without a compass correction card?

Review the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) entry for the magnetic compass (see the attached file). Do you feel this is/is not a grounding item and what action should the FAA take?
