1. How much food waste is produced each day at George Washington University and where does it go? Interview individuals associated with aspects of the food service program at George Washington University (or another local organization/school/government office/hospital) to find out their estimates. What happens to this waste? Does the organization participate in food donation or composting? If so, what activities? If not, are there any local models for food donation or composting that could be implemented here?
