Image Analysis Assignment

Choose an image that conveys a civic
message. (i.e. Bansky) As part of your
brainstorming, interpret the image from
Zemliansky, Bang, and Sturken Cartwrightʼs
approaches to reading visual text. Write a
4-6 page paper analyzing the image and
the agenda it presents. Be sure to
complicate the agenda.
Your paper should include:
1.)” Interpretation of the image using
Zemliansky and Bang, as well as your own
observations
2.)” Analysis of the meaning and “agenda”
of the image using Sturken and Cartwright,
as well as outside research.
