Assignment Requirements
There is disagreement between federal, state, and locals on the information state and local law enforcement should receive. Discuss how state and local law enforcement should be involved in intelligence gathering, collection, and analysis for homeland security purposes.
Provide a short legal brief you might submit to your Homeland Security superiors. The writing assignments should provide a balanced analysis of the issue assigned based on pertinent sources and materials. The writing assignments must follow APA Publication Manual, 6th edition guidelines and be free of typographical, spelling and grammatical errors. Use of critical and creative thinking skills is important.
Each assignment will consist of:
•A title page
•Abstract
•Text/analysis (4-6 pages double spaced)
•Reference list
•Appendixes (if needed).
The 4-6 pages of analysis does not include the title page, abstract, reference list and appendixes
