Do you think the role of women or the plight of women in conflict should be given any special attention as believe they should? Or is violence simply violence, and should be treated as such, no matter the victim is man, woman or child? Thus, theories that try to reexamine foreign policy through the lens of gender are simply academic exercise with little value to the field?
