Select a specific and narrow recent event, decision, action in international politics.  Explain your topic (which cannot be the same one as your powerpoint) using a minimum of three concepts/theories/perspectives from class or the textbook.  Remember that the papershould not simply be a description of the event but a demonstration of how your selected topics explain your topic).  Do not choose a topic that is too broad.  If you are having difficulty in selecting one please see me as soon as possible.  Page limit – 5 pages (12 point font, double spaced).  Include a bibliography (remember to include proper quotations, citations using Chicago style).
