The paper should have to do with the history of

mathematics, but it does not have to be of a time

period

or culture discussed in class. In fact, it would be

appreciated if the paper and presentation involve one

of the following: (1) recent developments in

mathematics, (2) other cultures, (3) modern women

mathematicians.
