Sleep log

his assignment lasts 50 days. Print off copies of thisPreview the documentView in a new window sleep log and starting with the evening of Wednesday, September 14, document in your log each night%u0432%u0402%u2122s number of sleep hours and also list the factor(s) contributing to that number (e.g., stayed out late with friends, planned to retire early, up late studying, played video games, stressed out, made an effort to get to bed earlier, afternoon nap was maybe too long, exercised late in the evening, etc).

The assignment ends by documenting your last night’s sleep from Thursday, November 3, and submitting your assignment NLT Sunday, November 6, by 11:59 p.m.

Additionally, write a paragraph summarizing the trends you identify from your nightly entries and offer ideas that will mitigate those trending factors if you’re chronically not getting enough sleep. Would you consider a sleep aid such as Ambien or Lunesta or Melatonin? Would you make sacrifices in your day in order to get into bed earlier? Also provide a breakdown of your nights’ sleep this way:

8 or more hours
7-8 hours
5-6 hours
4-5 hours
3 or less
This isn’t an exercise in “doing it right”. It’s an exercise in becoming mindful of the choices you make and identifying those that you either might want to practice more often, or possibly change, in order to regularly deposit into a great quality of life via more good nights of enough rejuvenating sleep.

There is no word count required but after 60 days I’ll expect an adequate explanation that would demonstrate that you’ve 1) logged all 60 days and, 2) analyzed your sleep patterns and the associated factors that affected your sleep for good or bad.

Attach your log and summary, or, submitting a jpeg of your log is acceptable if that’s easier for you, but don’t forget to include your summary when turning in the assignment
